3. How do I create my first route artwork?
Use the drawing tool on the map to create a shape or pattern. Then download the GPX file and follow it using a GPS app or device. For more details refer the help page.
4. Do I need to sign up to use the tool?
You can try the basic route art without signing up. However, access to premium art and upload feature requires an account and subscription.
5. Can I use RideMyArt on mobile or desktop?
Yes, RideMyArt works smoothly on both desktop and mobile devices.

6. How do I download the GPX file of my route?
Once your route is generated, click the download button to export it as a GPX file.
7. Can I import my own drawings into RideMyArt?

8. What GPS devices or apps can I use to follow the GPX route?
You can use any GPS-enabled app or device that supports GPX, like Strava, Garmin, Komoot, or MapMyRun.
9. Will this work with Strava, Garmin, or Komoot?
Yes, just upload the downloaded GPX file into your preferred app or device and start your activity.
10. Can I follow the route using my smartphone?
Absolutely. Apps like Strava and Komoot allow you to follow GPX routes directly on your phone.
11. Are the distance and elevation gain values accurate?
These are estimates meant for quick reference. For accurate distance and elevation data, RideMyArt recommends downloading and reviewing your GPX route in a GPS tool or app.

12. Can I share my artwork with others?
Yes, you can share your GPX file or your Strava activity link with friends and the community.

Plans, Pricing & Usage

13. Is RideMyArt free to use?
Yes! RideMyArt offers a selection of free images. Premium features include a larger image library and image uploads, require payment.
14. Do you offer a paid version? What features does it include?
Yes. Paid access to premium features starts at $2. It unlocks a wider collection of artistic images to choose from along with the image upload feature.
15. What plans do you offer?
RideMyArt offers a Starter plan at $2 for 2 premium downloads, with a Creator plan at $8 for 10 premium downloads. Please refer to the Pricing page for full details.
16. Do the plans have a validity period?
The Starter and Creator plans are valid for 6 months and 1 year respectively from your most recent purchase.
17. What’s the difference between basic and premium route generation?
Basic route generation uses RideMyArt’s free image collection. Premium route generation uses premium images or images you upload yourself, which offer more artistic flexibility and detail.
18. What counts as a premium download?
A premium download refers to downloading the generated route from premium or uploaded images.
19. Do you have a Fair Usage Policy?
Yes. RideMyArt applies reasonable usage limits to ensure stable service. Full details are available in Terms & Conditions.
20. Why do usage limits apply even if a generation doesn’t look right?
Route generation can occasionally produce imperfect results due to system or map-related constraints. To account for this, RideMyArt provides generous usage limits so users can retry and refine their routes without worrying about occasional failed or unsatisfactory generations.
21. What happens if I run out of premium downloads or premium generations?
Premium features work as a combined allowance. If you exhaust any one limit (premium downloads or premium generations), you may need to purchase another plan to continue using Premium features, even if other limits still have remaining usage.
22. How do I upgrade my account?
Please click the Upgrade button to upgrade your account.

Account

23. I used Google login. Why does email login give me `invalid credentials'?
Google login and email login are treated as separate accounts, even if the email ID is the same. You must log in using the same method you signed up with.
24. I didn’t sign up via email, but I’m told my email is already registered?
That likely means you’ve already used Google login with that email. Just sign in again using Google.
25. Can I change my password?
Please use the forgot password link to change your password.

Tech & Privacy

26. Is my route data saved or stored on your servers?
The generated artworks are stored on our servers to help us improve the service.
27. What personal information do you collect?
RideMyArt only collects essential information like your email to manage your account and improve our services. Your data is never sold or shared.
28. Can I delete my data or account?
Yes. You can request full deletion at any time from your profile settings.
Please note that this will permanently remove all your data, including any active subscriptions and remaining access period.

Troubleshooting

29. My shape looks weird after the route generation on the map. Why?
Ensure continuous road coverage, especially at the edges of your selected area. Larger areas with a dense network of roads generally yield more intricate and satisfying artistic routes.
30. Why did my route generation fail?
Even if you selected a valid area, the issue might be with the route-generation API. Just refresh the page and try again, it usually works the second time.
If your uploaded image has too many nodes, reduce the number nodes and try again.
